Getting back into python programming.
Over the past few days I’ve been getting back into python programming, and it’s been a fun experience!
- It’s relatively easy to learn, at least the basics anyway.
- I had a project to focus on.
Both of these helped me to get a good foundation that I could learn and grow from.
What am I doing now?
At the moment I’m playing and tinkering with code. Learning some GUI creation, using the tkinter library. Looking at making a copy of the visuals of some of the computer stuff from Jurassic Park (won’t be releasing it, it’s just to learn how it make it on the backend). I’m also looking at integrating some of what I’m learning into SITU, from my Scraps to Superheroes project.
Sharing the work?
In the future, I may end up sharing some of my python programming on Github. I did make an account there several years ago, but outside of a brief daliance with the Odin Project I’ve never used it. What’ll I upload there? I don’t know. For a while I considered doing a Python programming tutorial on my Youtube channel, and uploading any code examples to my Github account. I may end up doing that here on this site, but at the moment it’s an idea rather than the reality.
If you want to see any actual programming tutorials, or anything of the like, here on the site feel free to let me know. Like I said, I may end up doing it regardless, but if there’s demand for it, or a particular aspect, it’d give me a good starting point.
