The Wolf Among Us review.

The Wolf Among Us is another episodic game by Telltale Games, released episode by episode from the end of 2013 to mid-2014, and is based on the Fables comic series.  You play Bigby Wolf, the Sheriff of Fabletown, a place in New York where characters from various fairy tales live, and the game follows you as you investigate a series of events that threaten to seriously disrupt Fabletown.

The game is enjoyable, and features elements from other TellTale games such as other characters remembering your decisions.  It also features Melissa Hutchison, who played Clementine in The Walking Dead Seasons 1 and 2, as Toad Junior, another tearjerking character.  While I enjoyed the game,  I didn’t find it to be their best work.  It’s about as good as The Walking Dead season 2: Alright, but could’ve been better.  I just wasn’t as emotionally involved as I was in TWD: Season 1.

One thing I did find myself doing, was wanting Bigby and Snow White to get together.  This is normally something I don’t do, but their chemistry throughout The Wolf Among Us was really well done.

Conclusion

The Wolf Among Us is definitely worth buying.  While not their best work, in my eyes, it’s near the top of the list.
