Incite Inc

In the lead up to Season 3 of Westworld, a new site has been revealed: Incite Inc!

It’s been a while since the last post, on WarWorld, but as season 3 is starting soon the viral marketing for Westworld is restarting again! As such, we’ve had a new email from Delos talking about something we’ve heard a lot about recently: Privacy.

The Privacy Act of 2039

The email doesn’t give much information on what the privacy act does. If you’ve received an email in the last year about how companies store your data then you’ll know the general gist of it. At the end of the email, Delos even offers an extra night free at Westworld or The Raj as a token of their goodwill!

Why are we talking about this? The email tells us who they’re working with to make themselves compliant, a company called Incite Inc. This raises a big question….

Incite Inc: What is it?

From the looks of the Incite Inc site, Incite takes in your information and gives you the answers you want. They’re incredibly vague on pretty much everything! All of it throws off red flags and seems very suspicious. This does tie in with the later events of season 2, as Delos were shown storing brains scans of Westworld’s guests.

Incite and the Privacy Act

Once part of the site, linked to on the site and in the email, is how Incite Inc is working with the Privacy Act. Visiting this page gives you a trailer for season 3 of Westworld, as well as a touch more information on the privacy act. One interesting thing from before the trailer starts: There’s an Incite Beta starting. What is this Beta? Who knows! It does look to be related to the Privacy Act and taking control of your data! It’s easy enough to sign-up to the Beta, which I have done.

I am curious as to what the Beta will be, and what becomes of Incite Inc. According to the Timeline on the Westworld Wiki this Act comes out some time before the events of the show. Will there be more time perspective shenanigans?

What do you think? Have you signed up? I’d love to hear what you think!
