Westworld ovderdue round up.

Quick overview and round up of the emails/happenings with the Westworld websites since the last update.  Mild spoilers.

Overview of what happened

While Westworld was on, an email was sent out after every episode finished.   The emails contained links to things like previews of future episodes, more sites revealed on the map on the Discover Westworld site, and the occasional item on the Delos site.   I can’t really link to anything as the links are a bunch of redirections, unfortunately, and the Delos site can’t be fully accessed as it’s still….affected.   After the end of the final episode, both sites became affected by the robots taking over the site.  The Westworld site has since been fixed to the pre-takeover state.   Delos, however, remains broken.

The Delos main page now shows a bunch of  code, showing it’s in a lockup.  Near the end, is a code:

Which isn’t too helpfull….until you decode it.  On the Westworld subreddit it was discovered to be base 64 code.   Decoding it gives us the following:

Both very short clips.  The former shows Elise’s location, the latter is an audio clip from her, both indicating she’s alive and well….hopefully.And that’s it.  There’s been nothing since, and it’s a case of waiting for whatever comes when Season 2 approaches.  Until then, we’ve got more fiction to dive into!
